How do you play Sum Attack!?
Sum Attack! plays like a fast-paced matching game — match the card on top of the discard pile by color, number, or equation, use Wild cards anytime, and watch out for the Sum Attack! Card. Full rules, wild card guide, and worked examples are all on our Rules page.
What ages is Sum Attack! designed for?
Addition & Subtraction is designed for ages 5+, and Multiplication for ages 8+. Both are great for family game night or classroom use, for 2–10 players.
Addition & Subtraction is meant for players who are learning addition and subtraction or are still building fluency.
Multiplication is meant as a practice tool to continue building fluency.
How long does a round take?
Game lengths will vary depending on the number of players and math fluency.
Most rounds take 10–30 minutes.
What's included in the box?
The Addition & Subtraction game includes 121 cards and Multiplication includes 163, each with full instructions and built for 2–10 players. See the Rules page for a breakdown of every card, including the wild cards.
Should I get Addition & Subtraction, Multiplication, or the Bundle?
If your player is in the beginning of their math journey, start with Addition & Subtraction (ages 5+). Once they're ready to practice times tables, Multiplication (ages 8+) is the next step. The Bundle includes both decks and saves $5 versus buying separately - a good option if you want to cover multiple skill levels or grow with your player over time.
Is Sum Attack! actually educational?
Yes — Sum Attack! was built by a certified math educator to align with state math standards, so players get real practice with number fluency while playing a game that is fun!
Are the cards safe for kids?
Yes. Sum Attack! is tested for compliance with CPSIA children's product safety standards, including lead and phthalate content testing.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is free to the contiguous US. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and other US destinations outside the lower 48 ship at calculated rates, and faster shipping options are available at checkout.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders usually ship within 1–2 business days, and you'll get a tracking email as soon as your order is on its way. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we only ship within the US. Check back soon for international shipping updates.
What's your return policy?
If your game arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, email us at orders@sumattack.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund. For anything else, just reach out and we'll do our best to help. See our full Refund Policy.
Does the Multiplication game have a Wild Draw 4?
No, it does not. We accidentally printed a card that says Wild Draw 4's are included in the Multiplication game. Wild Draw 4's are only included in the Addition & Subtraction game.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout.
Can I order in bulk for my classroom or school?
Yes! Online orders are limited to 25 games for Addition & Subtraction and 25 for Multiplication per order, but we're happy to help with larger classroom or school orders. Email us at orders@sumattack.com and we'll get you set up.
